Save Grange Lido

The Save Grange Lido campaign was founded in 2011 due to public reaction to plans to demolish the Lido's buildings and fill the pool basin.

Grange Lido is the last of the great British seaside Lidos in the north of England, and of regional historic importance. Thanks to the efforts of Save Grange Lido, it is now grade II listed.  It is much loved and prized by local people who overwhelmingly want to see it fully restored as a Lido.

Mango Homes has been helping Save Grange Lido since was established. The group has grown year upon year, and comprises local people from a range of different backgrounds and specialisms. Save Grange Lido Ltd is now incorporated as a Community Benefit Society and working on plans and fundraising for the Phase II project to restore the pool and future management of the Lido as a community asset.

Whilst Grange Lido is not a Mango Homes project and we have no plan own or operate a Lido, we included it on our website because it is such and important project!
